On November 28, 2026, we invite you to a very special concert in our Lakewood workshop. Where guitars are usually sawn, planed, and sanded, this evening will be all about the music our instruments are made for.
Right in the heart of our spacious workshop, you'll experience a concert in the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes Lakewood so special. We're delighted to welcome Tess Wiley and Norman Keil, two outstanding musicians who both call the Gießen region home and have made a name for themselves far beyond it.
Enjoy the unique charm of our workshop and let yourself be carried away by the music – because here at Lakewood, you're closer to the artists than ever.
Born and raised in Texas, Tess Wiley still carries the wide-open spirit of her homeland in her music. Her songs move effortlessly between Americana, folk, country, and singer-songwriter pop – sometimes melancholic and thoughtful, sometimes full of warmth and lightness.
Tess is an accomplished musician with an impressive career behind her. With her distinctive voice, extensive musical experience, and a remarkable sensitivity for melodies and storytelling, she has developed a style that is entirely her own over the years. Her music is honest, profound, and beautifully understated – shaped by the maturity and confidence of an artist who knows exactly what she wants to express.
Norman Keil is a storyteller in the truest sense of the word. With his distinctive voice, honest lyrics, and heartfelt melodies, his music moves between German-language singer-songwriter pop and traditional singer-songwriter rock.
His songs tell stories of life, love, doubt, new beginnings, and finding your way back. Sometimes powerful and uplifting, sometimes quiet and deeply moving. With just a few words and chords, Norman has a remarkable ability to connect with his audience and take them on a musical and emotional journey. At this concert, however, we'll experience a different side of him – quite unlike his current "Willst du mit mir gehen" tour.
Both artists will perform in their purest form this evening: solo, with nothing but an acoustic guitar and their voice. Expect heartfelt performances, wonderful songs, and that special connection between musicians and audience.
